Rhumkorff Induction Coil For Frank


Frank has everything but a homemade Rhumkorff Coil, unless you mean his original signed "Rhumkorff"...
Here is my first attempt.  It runs from a solid state circuit, lamp dimmer + 13 mfd motor capacitor.  On full power, it produces
a 3/8" arc.









Charging a .01 mfd mica transmitting cap and powering a 9" Pancake Coil...
