Homemade Quartz Ultraviolet Lamps


Ultraviolet Detector.  
Quartz glass tube filled with Sodium Fluoroscein.
Glows opaque yellow green under UV radiation (sunlight, blacklight, and cold quartz lamp irradiations,
as well as electrical discharges).

Homemade bulb made from Light Bulb salt shaker.  Quartz germicidal lamp enclosed, 
Sodium Fluoroscein, and insulating oil on top.  Thanks to John "Grizzy" for the shakers!
