Solid State Dimmer-Driven MOT for Producing Phantom Streams






Circuit consists of a light dimmer wired to a microwave oven transformer (MOT) in series with a 7.5 mfd motor cap.
The spark gap is in parallel with the transformer, the Pancake Coil connected in series with a .006 mfd capacitor to the gap.

Motor cap is in the base.

Pancake is housed in a 8.5" square box.  6 turns primary coil, 500 turn secondary coil wound 5 TPL in 100 layers.
