Solid State Dimmer Circuit for Induction / Ignition Coils


Arc will extend 1.5" or more under oil





Same experiment to current-limit a microwave oven transformer (MOT)



Same circuit powering an electromagnet from a Violet Ray machine.  Two layers of wire originally
used for a cautery circuit were used for the primary winding.

The small induction coil can power Geissler tubes.
