This machine was given to me by Dan for parts.  After seeing the unusual arrangement though, I had to try and restore it!  A week later, and...


Wow!  So cool, but falling apart (literally).






I decided to scrape off the veneer.  It was falling off here and there anyway...


Next I sanded it...

...but wait.  This isn't typically crap wood that's veneered over.  It was poplar!


A bit of stain...






Yikes!
