Tests at 4KW with Military Quenched Gap.  2 MOT's in series, P & S, 220V input.  Approx 3000 watts.  .032 mfd Discharge is a fiery ribbon.  Discharge limited to 6-8". Note how the sparks form in ribbon patterns amidst an orange-yellow firey haze. Insulators start to burn on gap - with fewer Spark Gap sections the quenching does not occur properly and the output voltage decreases... Still a very hot brush discharge! After some adjusting secured the hot arc again... and then the mica cap burned out!!  :( "We've got more power than that!"
