When I first started the museum I was contacted shortly after by Scott Betz, great-grandson of Frank S. Betz. He kindly sent me this photo of his grandparents. Frank immigrated from Germany to the US and formed an importing company "Frank. S. Betz". In the 1920s this became Betzco, and was purchased by A. S. Aloe in 1937. The company was started with $25, and grew to over two million dollars in 20 years! |
