Original Kinraide Coil Test




Test performed with 6" diameter Quenched Spark Gap, 900V Transformer
Capacitor was tested at .22 mfd and .44 mfd.
Approx. 100 watts of power is being consumed.


Here roughly 300 watts of power is being consumed.

The discharges are unique.  They crackle like a static spark, but show signs of yellowish flames like a flaming arc even at low power.
