The Turn Of The Century Electrotherapy Museum (C) Jeff Behary 2006 - John Keely's Motor:  Glass Plate Negatives by Thomas Burton Kinraide.  After Keely died, Kinraide inherited the motor, and discovered that it was a fraud.  Kinraide was initially intrigued by Keely's work, and the two became friends.  Due to this friendship, Kinraide did not release the information he found.  However, reporters later discovered in Keely's home a series of air lines running to an underground tank that powered the creations.  Keely was one of the most inventive and creative frauds of the century.  Below are perhaps the last known photographs of the Keely Motor, found in Kinraide's Jamaica Plain Laboratory.  Discovering them untouched for over a century was one of many highlights Rita and I found in the Boston area.
